2010 PBS Annual Meeting - Austin, Texas! May 17-20
PBS Turns 40!

Hard to believe, PBS is turning 40 this year. What better way to celebrate than with hundreds of your colleagues in Austin, Texas! We'll begin with a quick toast to the first 40; then turn our attention to the future and the next generation of outstanding local/national service to America.

The event kicks off on Monday, May 17th, with an Opening Reception and PBS' 40th Birthday Bash, hosted by KLRU and featuring some down-home Austin music and Tex-Mex.

Over the next two and one-half days, you'll have the chance to explore a tremendous amount of content, and network with friends. General sessions will feature the latest PBS Content with a deeper exploration of our new Arts and News & Public Affairs initiatives. Travel Grants
To help offset the travel costs for attendees from stations with demonstrated need, PBS has created a Travel Grant Fund. A limited number of $250 travel grants will be made to station professionals who otherwise would be unable to attend the conference. Funding for these grants is made possible in part through the generosity of many of our business partners. For more details on how to apply for a travel grant, please visit the website. For small stations, we've also provided information on the Travel Grants available from CPB.
