NFPB is dedicated to providing volunteers and volunteer managers opportunities for networking, scholarships to Development Conferences, and recognition for volunteers and volunteer programs.

The 2010 PBS Annual Meeting will be held in Austin, Texas, from May 17 through May 20.  This new meeting will combine the best features from the PBS Development Conference and PBS Showcase, bringing development leaders together with station managers, programmers, producers, and communications and interactive professionals to spotlight PBS content and encourage innovative efforts to strengthen our public service mission.

NFPB is welcoming nominations for NFPB Volunteer Awards.  Honor an outstanding volunteer! Today our volunteers are more important than ever.  Say "Thank You" and nominate an exceptional volunteer, a community advocate, a volunteer-led project, and/or the coordinator of your volunteer program for one of the national awards offered by the National Friends of Public Broadcasting.  Nominations must be received by April 15, 2010 - send your nominations now.
